Chooks Smokin'. Lumix M4/3 14mm
It's been a while since I last cranked up the smoker and did a batch of chicken thighs. Somehow, this whole blighted summer slipped by and not a bird was smoked. Then there was a confluence of circumstances. We had mistakenly ordered more chicken for our grocery delivery than normal, and the weather forecast for today was perfect smoking weather. In these constrained times, I didn't have the customary bourbon on hand for the marinade, but I do have four bottles of cheap sweet sherry for cooking. My editor and food critic feels that the sherry has less of an edge. Normally, that whole lower rack, plus the upper would be filled with thighs and drumsticks, but it was still worth the effort.
