A day with deer friends!
Today I went to Pensthorpe to meet my good friends (and honorary brother and sis-in-law) pontycyclops and his missus. It was, to say the least, pretty chilly but the company was as warm as ever and it didn't feel like 6 months since we saw each other.
I'm sure Ponty will write a much better account of the day on his blip but we saw a reasonable number of species, especially at the feeder station hide. That was where this little beauty put in an appearance. Never knew that Muntjac have such lovely markings on their heads.
Off to Minsmere tomorrow to get frozen stiff in some different hides!!
