Cleared banks of the Dichty

A bright sunny day, mild but getting cold

I preached at our morning Service on one of Paul’s pastoral prayers. I have enjoyed this series. I have one more of this block of four next week and I will preach on Advent.

In the afternoon we went for a four mile circular walk from our house. Part of it was along the stretch of the Dichty seen in the photo. During the summer the banks had been covered in large flowers, so much so that it wasn’t possible to see the Dichty. Now that the banks have been cleared it opens up a lovely view. You can see how low the sun was by my guest appearance on the far bank.
