Moon sun and in between.

My morning bike ride was slower than normal, but I blamed the fog and mucky roads rather than my reluctant legs.
An unplanned late afternoon walk, as there was sunshine and a nice sky, part of which took us to the sea. I was idly looking at two distant swimmers when I heard a 'hello' called out from behind. The caller was the wife of one of the said swimmers. To my amazement and delight, her husband was M., who was my cycling companion for more than twenty years. We must have clocked up around 134,000 kilometers together, until a rare neurological condition made it impossible for him to even sometimes walk. His wife told me that after numerous tests, he's luckily managed to be referred to a London specialist, who has helped him manage his condition much better. He still has several very limiting problems, but has found he can swim quite long distances. I was so glad to hear this, as M lived for exercise. Never give up hope, eh.
At first I wondered if this slightly hazy moon was full, but it's just waxing gibbous. I was quite pleased, as it's hand held whilst I was coming back this afternoon. The extras are also from the walk.
