Dark times.

Some Christmas decorations arranged into our home, but the tree comes later. I searched in the internet and found a candle decoration, actually from the near shop of ours, which my mom has been seeking for. A short visit in the shop and in her doorway. On my way home from visiting my mom, I drove via Pispala esker.

And decided to blip this. I like the warm lights from the windows in the middle of these dark times.

The highest street of Pispala esker is narrow between wooden small houses. This esker living area is one of the oldest parts of Tampere. Some of the houses are old but renewed, some of them are brand new - but the style has to be the same. Narrow streets are not easy to clean out of snow, but idyllic area this is for sure. Now as we had only +1c and no snow yet, the night scene is so darkish.

Ps the Corona situation in Finland is that Pirkanmaa, where we live, is now close to move from "spread phase" of corona virus to "dispersal phase" , which is why today some new regional strict recommendations were announced for the next three weeks.

For example, the public and private indoor sports facilities will we closed between 2.-21.12.20. Also swimming pools, spas and public saunas are recommended to be closed. Libraries will provide a limited service for lending purposes only. All shopping malls are recommended to close public living room -kind of areas and amusement and playground areas are recommended to be closed. All adult sport activities should continue after three weeks, after 21.12.20. And of course we shoud wear masks every time we go into any indoor place outside of our home.

In private and also any public events, the recommend limit is up to 10 people only until 21 December. And in addition it is recommended not to travel to Uusimaa and other "dispersal phase" provinces, such as Päijät-Häme and Northern Ostrobothnia. The only thing that remains normal, is that elementary and second grade schools remain open, but everyone should wear masks.
