It’s Gonna Be A Bright Sunshiny Day

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It was a lovely cold, sunny wintry day. I went for an early walk on Portobello beach with Smashley this morning. There were quite a few people swimming and it looked so pretty in the sunshine that it could have been mistaken for a Spanish beach in summer. Except it was 1°C. Smashley said he fancied giving outdoor swimming a go sometime but I suggested he waits until it’s warmer if he wants his external body parts to remain external!

As it was such a nice day, The Prince and I went for a cycle this afternoon to have a cuppa in Jenk and Sooj’s garden. We went via The Meadows and Cramond Promenade; both were as busy as I have ever see with people trying to catch up outside before the Scottish winter makes it challenging.
