From Costa Rica

When you really look at them, pineapples are extraordinary things. They are Gordon's favourite fruit after a Braeburn apple. Once when we were in a French restaurant he had Pineapple Carpaccio and he still says it was the best dessert he has ever had. I don't think he  will be getting the mandolin out today to make it himself. 

I don't think the mist has lifted all day either.
