At Koiravuori

Finally some time for hiking alone in nature and explore new areas. I also met some wild animals, but I didn't been lucky enough to get any photos of them. One was a hare that was already changed its' pure white fur for winter. The other was some big bird, probably owl or capercaillie. I only heard the big wings noice when it suddenly flied away from the spruce above me, Didn't get any eye observation of it, but those both species are nestingin that area.

Views in that untouched forest on the top of the high granite stone hill were like in this image. Thin layer of resh snow decorated landscape very nicely.

Unfortunately daylight time is already so short that I had to return back to my car after couple of hours hiking, because the terrain in the area is a bit challenging to move even on daylight time, due of holes between trees and stones. Also many dangerous long, narrow and deep holes on the top of the hill in many places and lot's of wet lichen everywhere made rocks very slippery to walk.

Despite of all dangers and challengin terrain I enjoyed a lot being alone in silence. I really needed that.

This image is also worth of open large.
