Christmas Trees and Wreaths

Dear Diary,

Maine has a long tradition of growing Christmas trees and fashioning beautiful wreaths.  My friends own Chamberlain Farm, not far from me, and they grow lovely trees.  A friend of theirs fashions really amazing wreaths.  It is part of the Advent tradition to decorate your house with evergreen.  Today is the first Sunday of Advent and my house is nearly all decked out.  Just a few presents left to wrap.  The big debate now is, do I put up the winter village or not?  Since I will be the only one to see it, is it worth the trouble?
