Out of sync!

This is my poinsettia plant, the leaves are just starting to turn red - they're supposed to do this in early December or as the experts say, when the days are short & the plant gets less light. I'm not convinced by this theory though, last year the leaves were still red in June! My poor plant is obviously a little out of sync :-)
