I needed a little cheer....

Been a good day until I read a friend's family member woof woof Soleil passed away. Hopefully some day we will meet again over that rainbow bridge.


While watching the birds this morning a small bird hit the window rather hard. I knew right away the likely outcome but I gently picked it up, let rest in safety for a few hours just in case but no. It never moved. It's now buried under the plant that it rested on so many times...


Today the pie is finally finished off, turkey for breakfast, turkey for lunch and still turkey for... Tomorrow I'll be taking my mom out to a local park for some fresh air...
