The bird was watching me as I came out of my backdoor this afternoon.  Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to use my zoom lens.  We had a mother with one young earlier in the year and I was wondering whether this was either one.

Electricity off all morning as the overhead power lines were being renewed in our area.  Fortunately it was sunny so I  could get on with office work and I had also made myself a flask of hot coffee.

Went for a walk this afternoon and bumped in C again on the track with her dog Zula.  There were quite a few people out enjoying the fine weather.
