Super Saturday

Except for a little annoying half hour, it’s been a smashing day. Early sea swim in the sunshine with our little swimming gang of four. Last week I got really cold, by today I had successfully reorganised my swimming footwear and my after swim merino full body base layer. Everything worked like a true triumph, a gorgeous 20 minute bob about with chatting and laughing.

Quick turn round to meet Ella the birthday girl for a trespassing walk of gloriousness on the closed golf course. What a wonderful, huge bit of Worthing! All sunny, we had a lovely time, laughed a lot about holidays we have been on in the past and planned a Icelandic Swimming Tour. After the masks and the like are a thing of the past, obvs.

Then I came home, realised my phone was still somewhere in the golf course, went back to track it down, spoke to the lovely woman who had found it and was taking it to the police station, went and met her in Wickes car park, got my phone back ending the annoying bit of the day.

Activities all over, I then did some lounging, knitting and cooking crispy duck pancakes for tea.
