Harbour light

Late afternoon walk to the William yard and around the front to devils point. The sun was setting beautifully and the combination of boats in the harbour looked entrancing! So very blessed to live where I do and have this on my doorstep! Popped round to the flat this afternoon and all the pieces for the kitchen have arrived! So exciting! Sadly the washing machine didn’t work, lack of electricity and I couldn’t work out how to rectify it so walked up to the local laundrette to do my washing. All good exercise! Makes one realise how much small things Costa do how fortunate we all are to have these helpful machines in our lives. Remembered my grandmother had to do it all with her maid by hand. She had a big barrel with a paddle! Always a Monday job so she said!
