A glorious November day in Orkney.  This is the first time I’ve featured the Island of Graemsay  

I went up into the Mainland hills.  I met Dougal at the Parish Kirk and we walked up to the Ward Hill.  Dougal is game.  Next Wednesday he is to go to Aberdeen for tests and an operation.  This will be followed by chemo.  He turned back after quite some time and I went up the Midhill and then walked down through the village and to Dougal’s hoose.  Our wimmin folk were away through shopping in Kirkwall so we watched (virtually) the Red Lichties v Pars game.

In April 1997 Bert Jansch played a gig in the Macduff Arts Centre.  Did any of you attend ?
