i dun it
with great amounts of trepidation and about a week of planning, today I have been brave enough to firstly, spread a bit of tomato paste on my inner forearm to see what happened (nothing) and secondly, as a result of that, eat some pizza with a scrape of tomato on it. And, well, here I am, still alive. I did end up with stomach ache but nothing more dangerous than that. I won't be going out of my way to eat tomato again in the near future but it does mean that I might be able to get away with picking tomato out of things or even risk eating it if there is no other choice. Tomato is one of those things that is in EVERYTHING and so it is a great relief to know that the alarming reactions of this time last year are over. Next up on my trial list are potatoes. Again, just because they are in so much and difficult to avoid. However, I will continue on my total exclusion diet at home and nuts will never come near me again.
In other news:
Flea has the full top bit of her brace now and her teeth are wandering around her mouth like nomads. We're half expecting her to wake up in the morning with her teeth growing out of her feet.
I attempted one-legged-pilates again today with more success than last week - not being able to use one knee properly is interesting. And doing triceps press-ups with weight only on one leg makes one sweat buckets. But I'm sure that's good for me.
And winter returned. As with all sequels, it's a bit crap and predictable. But the music is good.
