Fog in the Valley

I'm cooking & caring for my mother this weekend, so I spent the day at her house in the Taunus hills.

It's at an altitude of about 500 m. All week it was foggy there, too., But today we saw blue sky and enjoyed a short walk in the sunshine.

The fog withdrew to the valleys during the day, but returned at sunset -  when I drove home, the world was grey and small once more.
