Today was a good day. A very good day.

I met up with a lovely friend in Ramsbottom (yes, that really is the name of the village) and we spent most of the day being ladies wot lunch.

We also both learned a valuable lesson - when you agree to meet in a restaurant that has two entrances, it's a good idea for the first person who arrives to text the other and let them know that they're there and where they're sat. This avoids the problem of you both being sat in said restaurant for almost 20 minutes presuming the other is running late, when in fact you're both there but sat at tables at opposite sides of the room where you can't see each other.
