The Pin Story

Yesterday I had posted a photo of a pin that would be worn. I found out today that the pin posted today and yesterday were once owned by a local business woman who passed away in her late 80's while still running the business. Alta and her husband over many years had created one of the most successful hardware stores in Whatcom County. After Alta had passed most all her belongings had been sold which included these two pins. Both pins are each mounted on the black matting and beautiful picture frames. It was interesting to learn that we have a small part of this incredible hard working woman's life...
