Discovery

Called 'the Discovery Oak' this sculpture in Denny is meant to represent the oak hull of Captain Scott's Antarctic ship Discovery. The upper part of the stainless steel section of the sculpture signifies both an oak leaf and rolling southern waves.

A trip into Denny this afternoon before joining a memorial event via Zoom for my friend S who passed away in early October.
