Friday: Wallflower ...

... planted a year ago, a couple are flowering and looking strong and healthy providing colour in a garden which is closing down for Winter.
Spent a happy couple of hours outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and the company of the birds. Some of the spring bulbs are starting to grow so moved them so we can see them when they flower.
After lunch I was upstairs using the iMac and there was tapping on the window ... a tiny blue tit was peeping in, tried to get a photo but it had flown down into the mahonia, see today’s extra - apologies for poor quality 
Has anyone reading this noticed blue tits feeding on Mahonia flower nectar? I watch them doing this daily, they seem to enjoy a sweet treat!
It was dark and chilly by 3pm, there was an early sunset before the sky went very dark, so chilly that I turned the heating on at 3:30pm - MrD had a very busy delivery day and I think he was glad to come home to a warm house!
