A hard coming we had of it
Bloody freezing today. All day fog and silent, unrippling water just waiting for a sword to emerge from its depths clutched in a white hand on a disembodied limb. Man tights didn’t stop my legs getting cold. Horsell common was desolate but somehow beautiful. Horses and dogs aplenty (see extras).
Strange day. I was on leave but had to do some work. Too many cooks meant I was still emailing back and forth at quarter to seven.
We bought a Christmas tree. Don’t think I’ve ever bought one in November before.
