A Walk in the Rain

Lockdown 2, Day 23

I met Alison for an early morning walk along the Undercliff to the marina and back. Unfortunately it was drizzly, but I had my waterproofs on and took the rainbow brolly with me, which Alison kindly modelled for my blip.

On our way back we stopped at Molly’s for a takeaway hot chocolate and then Alison went to work, and I went to Elif’s to do some more photos. She’s being interviewed by Sussex Prestige Magazine and is in the February issue and wanted a new portait shot.

I was home by lunch time and went for a walk with Alan in his lunch break. We came across a group of people in the road with a lady mayor, a tv crew and bottles of champagne and some huge number lights that said 100. Then they brought an old lady out of her house, she was obviously 100! I’m surprised there was such a crowd but I guess it was a special event.

The boys went to Charlotte’s for grooming this morning, so I went to pick them up this afternoon and I spent the rest of it cooking a butternut squash lasagne, and I don’t know where the day’s gone! We’re now sat in the Palace with a Chombard Royale - it is date night after all :-)

Have a good one and I’ll catch up with you over the weekend.
