A misty start

Woke to fog  - thick fog. I waited until I could see some sky above the fog (visibility at the house was still almost nothing) and planned to drive to a few locations I had in mind. Within half a mile of the house, the fog totally cleared! - Keswick had none, Derwentwater had none, Bassenthwaite was foggy, though. So I drove up the Whinlatter pass to the lay by overlooking Bassenthwaite, and tried there - wasn't bad. but just 400m closer to Braithwaite, there was a forestry path which gave me this view. I had to "wade" through some pretty wet undergrowth to get this ethereal view with a splash of leaf colour in the foreground.
