Time for a bit of DIY.

I decided to go for a small walk around the lake at lunchtime as the weather had improved slightly.

No sooner had I got the camera out and the lens cap off but this Heron came in to land, a quick chance focus and I managed to get one shot before it landed on the nest. Would have been a nice afternoon for getting the nest repairs done too.
