Happy American Thanksgiving from Canada
I am heavily invested in America these days. Certainly not financially because I have limited resources, but some of my best children-in-law and grandchildren are Americans. :)
So today Lauralea roasted a chicken and we did the whole deal with food to help mark American Thanksgiving, at least in spirit, (and food,) with our family.
Today was another intense day of change on the fly now that the numbers that can gather are more and more limited. It's now illegal here to visit in homes with other people. Can't really believe that but strange days call for strange measures I suppose.
Tomorrow we ramp up for the weekend services, as small as they may be. I mentioned today that It feels like we are always catching up, and never really succeeding at it.
But hey, we are safe and we have a place to live and we have food to eat. Christmas will be different yes, but we can still mark the season well.
So half the roast chicken is gone and our bellies are filled with good food and we are grateful contented people.
Night.
