David Balfour and Alan Breck Stewart

I went for a bike ride this morning to bag some Turf zones, while S was in town. On the Glasgow road is a statue of David Balfour and Alan Breck Stewart from Robert Louis Stevenson’s book Kidnapped. The statue was designed by Scottish artist Sandy Stoddart and was unveiled by Sir Sean Connery in 2004. Today it looked rather good in the pale November light. The extra is of Christmas decorations in Castlehill.
