Underwater

Happy Thanksgiving to all the US blippers!  Today was the first year in 50 that PD and I have had Thanksgiving dinner alone together.  It gave us time to reflect on the many wonderful family times, especially with those who are no longer with us.  I am so grateful to have had those times and the wonderful memories I'll always have.  But I'm most grateful that we are the constant - still here together after 50 years!  

My parents were married on 25 November 1937 on Thanksgiving Day.  (I never quite understood why they chose that day.)  Every year on the 25th my dad said "Happy Anniversary" but my mom insisted that their anniversary was on Thanksgiving Day no matter what the date.  It makes me smile, thinking about it.  Remembering them on their anniversary (yesterday and today)! 

My blip today is another Pep Ventosa (9 exposures in camera).  I applied a water filter to make it appear that it's underwater for today's theme.  It looks much better large.  The 1st extra is after some fartnarkling but before the "water" was added.  The 2nd extra is SOOC.  Many thanks to Ingeborg for faithfully hosting Abstract Thursdays!
