Turnberry Sky
I was travelling down to Girvan for a meeting this afternoon and pulled into a lay-by to take this shot of Turnberry in Ayrshire. I loved the way the light was breaking through the clouds and you can just make out Ailsa Craig in the distance.
Ailsa Craig is a strange looking island and looks like a giant cupcake in the middle of the Firth of Clyde. It is a bird sanctuary and a producer of curling stones. There are regular boat trips to the island in the summer and we're going to try and get out this year (weather dependent!)
