Behave yourselves!

Of course, they'd emptied the feeders - although they don't seem to be getting far with the fat balls yet. There were immense flutterings and scufflings when they discovered I'd re-upped. Actually they'd all dashed off again before I left - think the cat was lurking under the hedge.

Did a bit of LaTeX-ing for my next assignment - gosh, it's slow work, as I've forgotten all the protocols. 'Align' creates a maths environment but 'tabular' doesn't.....doh! Eejit.

Spent most of the evening listening to music and digesting the news that one of my oldest friends has tested positive for covid-19 - doubt if she'd have told me, but we were due to have a Zoom meet-up tonight and she's 'coughing a lot'. P has lived with seriously damaged lungs for many years and so was in the 'extremely vulnerable' category. She made a rare exception to her shielding behaviour to attend my brother's funeral. No clues as to how she contracted the wretched thing.
