Burnham Beach

A beautiful, crisp early-Winter morning for a walk along Burnham beach. By the time we got to the lighthouse here and back we'd notched up 5 miles and earned a takeaway bacon bap and a mocha.

A lot of other people thought the same but, as you can see, the beach is plenty big enough for all!

When we got home there was a parcel awaiting us, containing a box of chocolates from Sophie; she'd been missing us and thought we might need cheering up. If our walk hadn't done the trick, her thoughtfulness certainly did!
