Painting and swimming

A second coat of matt when on the walls then I ran out of paint. I'm not that impressed with B and Q own brand white matt although the coloured matt was fine.

We met  (covid rules applied) at Bassenthwaite Ouse bridge in the afternoon. The water was like a mirror and the sun came up lighting up the Skiddaw hills on the other side. Perfect. I swam to the yellow body and back - approx 500m.

On the way home I popped into the DIY shop for yet more paint. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow..... I determined to finish it this weekend.

We are in Tier 2 and I'm trying to organise how to see the kids over the Christmas period. Looks like we'll need a plan A and a plan B depending on if the rules change on 16/12- fingers crossed.
