In with the ox.

I'm always excited to see the Chinese zodiac painting unveiled at Ikuta Shrine.

This year has been the Year of the Rat. People born in the Year of the Rat are characterised as clever quick thinkers; successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life.

Next year will be the Year of the Ox, People born in the Year of the Ox are characterised as strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, inspiring confidence in others. They are also calm, patient, methodical and can be trusted. Although they say little they can be very opinionated. They believe strongly in themselves, but are also stubborn and hate to fail or be challenged.
