Moulin Rouge

Met Elisabo and Emma at St Michel at midday, and first we went to Notre Dame and sat for a bit, as it was surprisingly sunny and warm. We then headed to the Jewish quarter, La Marais - I hadn't realised that I'd not been before, but it's really nice there. Very quaint and, er, Jewish. We had lunch at one of many pitta/falafel places, eating just that, before carrying on wandering round. We headed back to Elisabo's for a quick rest and then headed out to Montmartre, going to Pigalle first to show Emma the Moulin Rouge. We stuffed ourselves with dinner at the fondue place with the baby bottles (went down well!) before climbing the steps up to Sacre Coeur, and joining the crowd sitting and listening to the musician there whilst admiring the view of Paris, amazing! We then took the metro to Bastille where we met Kate, Emily, their extended group of friends and some of Emily's friends from home, and went to a couple of bars before getting the last metro back to Elisabo's.
