Holiday!

An eb tonight, as although I was out and about more than usual today I was too busy or preoccupied to take any other photos. This little mouse figurine belongs to cousin Shelley, who will come over tomorrow for Thanksgiving. The kids and I decided on a full Thanksgiving feast. We're feeling the need for festivity, as much as we can muster. So I headed to the store and bought a turkey and most of the trimmings. 

What I'm thankful for: vaccines on the horizon, as KatesGardenPDX said. The health of my family (even Harry's doing well, all things considered). The kids' teachers. Lovely Blip friends. The music of Tchaikovsky on the radio today (though it's been Madonna singing Holiday that's stayed in my head).
