Balancing Act

I managed to have my punctured tyre replaced earlier today, here is the new (secondhand) tyre being balanced. Balancing is where the trueness of the wheel and tyre combined are put on a rig, it is spun at high speed and a digital readout tells the operator where to add weights to the rim. The added weight cancels out the inconsistencies thereby providing a better and safer ride.

In other news I weighed myself on my new scales this morning, I was going to blip a picture of me doing so, but the reading is too visible!

Now, where was I? ...The phone rang and I've lost my train of thought... Grrrr!
