Serenity

The reflections on the lagoon at Castle Espie were beautiful this morning. The Castle Espie site was originally a quarry and lime kilns, this lagoon is apparently 25m deep in the centre. Some years ago divers were exploring the lagoon and discovered that at the bottom of the lagoon is a train which was used in the quarry to move the limestone.
It's been a glorious day, very sunny - but very cold! We were at Castle Espie for the bird watch walk, by the time we had completed the walk, my feet were freezing!!! Note to Santa - please could I have some thermal socks as I've been a very good girl ;-)
