Out On A Limb

A little light snow has been falling on and off all day. Freezing rain is expected tonight through noon tomorrow. So happy we are not traveling for the holiday • The feeders have been busy all day, with lots of others eating leftovers from the ground. I caught a determined Hairy Woodpecker (aka Harry) on his way to the sunflower suet feeder • I baked two loaves of pumpkin bread this afternoon using a favorite recipe of my Mom’s. It’s spicier than most, with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, just the way we like it. We’ll enjoy some tomorrow and Friday, then the rest will go in the freezer for another day. Our waistlines don’t need too much of a workout! • Keep warm, stay well, and love the one you’re with!
