Wet leaves

Sycamore leaves on a wet day and in the extras leaves that look like leather when they have fallen and are wet.
Another damp, raw day. Hoping that Thanksgiving tomorrow will be better, although we are not going anywhere and nobody is coming here, except to bring food! John, who cuts our grass, is going with his wife to enjoy a turkey sandwich and a piece of pie with two friends, sitting on the drive outside the garage door!

This is the American sycamore, Platanus occidentalis not Acer   pseudoplatanus now widespread in the UK.
