Had a lovely birthday walk up Latrigg this afternoon after I'd mucked out my neighbour's ponies.  It was so lovely to have some sunshine and even better to see the crepuscular rays over Derwent Water.  Just a shame that I left my rucksack at  home which had my lunch in it!  Credit card and a trip to a garage shop in Keswick to the rescue.  Stopped off at Bassenthwaite on the way home for Misty to have her usual paddle and bumped into fellow blipper Valerie12 so good to have a chat.  Back home to find the postman knocking on the door with a parcel... turned out to be a bouquet of flowers.  Amazing what you can send through the post these days.
