Sunset on the Moor

After a successful recorder lesson this morning, it was another day of consolidation, recycling, reboxing and finding places for things from the two top bedrooms.  There was much wiping down, hoovering of places not uncovered for some time and cleaning of windows, but it is beginning to look something like now.

Late afternoon we stopped work and took a walk up on to the moor in the hope that the sunset would be as spectacular as the one I missed blipping yesterday because we were out running.  It was not to be, but it was lovely to be out on the moor in the chilled air and to see the moon and the impact of the fading light on the landscape.  We had to go carefully coming home through the woodland as it was dark in the valley and muddy underfoot, but we both felt better for being out.

And now it's Repair Shop time, so I might not be commenting tonight!
