The Tree is up!

Not our tree or in fact this tree....but one in Villars ( our nearest small town). 

Took the car to get to a good running place which would be mostly in the sun and on the way had to pull over for an enormous tree on a trailer. 40 minute run, stretch and on my return the tree was already up in the middle of the roundabout! 

Took this blip later on a walk as it reminded me how big the tree in Villars was and it was very fresh and full of beautiful big cones like these. In the background is a covered ' magic carpet' sort of escalator for skiers and you can also see the top of our ski area. 

Another lovely day for late lunch on the terrace and had a sorting and tidying afternoon.
