Frost & Sunshine

Title sums up this morning. It has stayed warm and sunny all day, the frost took a long time to thaw, some still hanging on in the shade. Our front garden is mostly moss and for once I've taken a closer look and realised how pretty it is with frost and sunshine on it!

Noticed that most of the seeds sown a few weeks ago have now germinated. Planted a few onions in cells so as to go in the garden when it thaws. Also planted 5 tubers of Charlotte potatoes in a plastic sack, they came as a kit and I'm giving it a go as an experiment. The sack will go outdoors end of March.

Derek the Weatherman said that this weather will continue for another week or so. He is never wrong!
