Bella’s Bench

Work all day until the kids came home from school. We walked into town to get the bits they need for their school food boxes then went for the obligatory coffee on Bella’s Bench. The coffee/hot chocolates had to come from somewhere new and exciting as all the cafes I normally frequent were shut.

This evening our Tesco delivery arrived, delivered by a lovely chap who chatted for far longer than he probably should have done! An ex-dairy farmer who is currently a retained firefighter, builder, small holder and delivery driver, I’m pretty certain there are not enough hours in the day. He commented about the BBQ being by the front door - we explained about the lack of working and it all became clear!

GBBO tonight, I’m happy with the result after last week’s Hermine disappointment. She was the worst last week but I’d hoped she would be the overall winner!
