A Bucket of Beans

Several months ago when I sowed my broad beens I also popped a few in a  bucket of potting mix and put them in the greenhouse. The main crop is now setting little beans that look promising. The indoor ones, however, are already at their peak, with lovely tender beans. I’ve had a meal off them already.

I had to take my car to Christchurch to get a warrant of fitness. For some reason they were working very slow. It took more than twice as long as usual. Didn’t do much shopping, but came home exhausted.
