All day long it rained and never seemed to get properly light - real November weather. Finally at about 3.30 the rain stopped and D and I went on our walk. I had the brilliant idea of putting bike lights on my walking poles so that we would be more visible in the murk. I put down the poles on the parapet of the bridge to take a video of the waterfall in spate, and D took a photo of the light. He looked quite devilish in its red glow...
