Sunset in Soft Pastels

Deep Peace

Deep peace of the running wave to you
Deep peace of the flowing air to you
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace of the shining stars to you
Deep peace of the gentle night to you

Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
Deep peace of Christ
Of Christ, Of Christ, the light of the world to you
Deep peace of Christ to you

Deep peace of the running wave to you
Deep peace of the flowing air to you
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace of the shining stars to you
Deep peace of the gentle night to you

Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
Deep peace of Christ
Of Christ, of Christ, the light of the world to you
Deep peace of Christ to you

Thank you so much for all your support yesterday.  Although I had another night when I didn't sleep much, I am better today...

Early this morning, I was sitting in bed going over the Bible Study on 'Peace' that I'm leading for Small Group tonight, when suddenly two words came into my mind - 'Deep Peace'.  I wondered, and then looked it up as I wasn't sure where this poem came from.

Anyway, just saying the words has really calmed me down today..

Just as well as I had to take Charlie to the vet because due to lockdown she has to start her jabs again as we only have a record of 3 years of her innoculations.  Managed to catch her but she wasn't impressed...she wee'd in the basket (although we had such a long time to wait outside as the vet hadn't arrived).  She's got to go back on the 15th December to have the final ones.

Positive news is that Charlie has put on just over half a kilo in weight since she was so poorly, which is fabulous :)

Apologies for lack of commenting as I'm now going to do some work on my interview..and then I've got small group.  In between I've got to organise some dinner for me :)

Happy Tuesday folks :)
