Lifting a glass tonight to one of my best friends. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer 10yrs ago today. Ten years ago she was given an 18-24month prognosis! Only 3% of women with metastatic breast cancer get to 10years! A statistic that hasn't changed in 30years. It's not good enough. She only knows three women, who like herself have made it to 10 years.

Here's to the next ten and to more research into secondary breast cancer.
