Pan rydych chi'n berchen lle mae rhaid i chi edrych ar ei ôl - ac mae llawer i wneud. Rydw i wedi bod yn ceisio ffeindio'r amser (a'r tywydd) i orffen fy ngwaith ar y decin ar ben yr ardd. Dechreuais ym mis Medi... Ar ôl y tywydd sych ddoe, ac mae'r rhagweld heddiw, ces i fy nghyfle. Cymerodd bron trwy'r dydd clirio'r dail a mwd ac yna yn paentio'r pren ond gorffennais i'r gwaith - o leiaf am eleni. Daeth y syniad i'm meddwl nad oes llawer o wahaniaeth rhwng pethau mae'n rhaid eu gwneud a phethau rydych chi eisiau eu gwneud. Dim ond gwahaniaeth agwedd. Felly gall fod yn bleser i baentio'r decin, trwsio cwpwrdd, gwneud gwneud y golchi llestri, a holl y pethau arall sy'n sefyll rhyngof i a holl bethau arall fy roedd i rili, rili (rili) eisiau gwneud. Felly roedd yn hwyl, a byddaf yn gwneud y cyfan eto yn gynnar yn yr haf y flwyddyn nesa. Rydw i'n edrych ymlaen ato. Nawr, beth sydd nesaf?

When you own a place you have to look after it - and there is much to do. I've been trying to find the time (and the weather) to finish my work on the decking at the top of the garden. I started in September... After yesterday's dry weather, and today's forecast, I got my chance. It took almost all day clearing the leaves and mud and then painting the wood but I finished the work - at least for this year. It occurred to me that there's not much difference between things that must be done and things you want to do. Just a difference in attitude. So it can be a pleasure to paint the decking, repair a cupboard, wash the dishes, and all the other stuff that stands between me and all the other things that I really, really (really) wanted to do. So it was fun, and I'll do it all again in the early summer next year. I'm looking forward to it. Now, what's next?
