Christmas is coming ......

We have been discussing Christmas.

It will be very different this year - as with the whole period since March, just the two of us. And getting out and about could be tricky, we can see walking outside being that bit more hazardous. We’ve both felt it would be good to skip Christmas and New Year, and then start 2021 on January 2nd.

But that isn’t possible, so we will have to make the best of it. I have ordered a Christmas tree today, to be delivered. Similarly a Christmas wreath, and (the first time for us) outdoor Christmas lights. So we’ve made a start.

Arley this afternoon, and we took a bridleway not previously travelled by us before, which took us to a road, and a turkey farm. I know turkey farmers are really worried this year as all those really big birds are grown for big family gatherings at Christmas. And they won’t (or more likely, shouldn’t) be happening.

We might order a turkey breast through our usual online order, it’s as much as we can do.
